Meet our team

Joanne Perkins

I have worked for my mind services now for 6 months and previous to this I worked for the NHS and charity organisations.  I am a person centred-counsellor and I am also trained in CBT techniques.

Person-centred therapy is a non-directive approach that puts you at the heart of the therapy and allows you, with my help, to explore your thoughts and feelings and find a way forward that feels right for you.  Every person is unique, so together, we will work out a way of working that is personal to you, in a safe, confidential and non-judgemental space.

I have a lot of experience in working with a wide range of issues, including stress, anxiety, depression and trauma.  I have a special interest in working with autism, neurodivergence and long-term health conditions. I have taken part in many studies over the years of my career, including psychology, stress management, health coaching and autism awareness.

Bev Halloran

You don’t need to cope with trauma, anxiety or depression alone. I offer a safe place where you can be heard without judgement or expectation. I understand It can be hard to put into words what you are feeling, but with the right support I can help you explore your emotions to make positive changes going forwards..

Whether you need to unlock and work through deep-seated, long-standing issues which may have been hidden for years, or to look at a current personal problem and to understand and define the options that are necessary for you to get on with your life, we can work through these together in a safe space.

Josh Corner

I have extensive experience working with addiction having worked for a substance misuse service for the last 3 years. Being apart of the LGBTQ++  community, it is my passion to support people with gender identity, coming to terms with sexuality, judgment from others and HIV diagnosis.
